Mentorship Program Discussion Panel
The Mentorship Program through AFP Vancouver Island is entering its fifth year! Did you know that the Mentorship Program is an excellent opportunity for mentees and mentors to further develop key skills and build important relationships? Feedback received from previous Mentees tells us that the need for mentorship in our field is essential. Every year we hear that both Mentors and Mentees have recognized the great value of the Mentorship Program and have realized many positive benefits through the process.
This cost free program is a benefit of your AFP membership. Are you thinking about participating as a Mentor or a Mentee in the 2017 mentorship program but you’re still not sure if it’s right for you, right now? Attending a panel discussion might be the next step for you to get insight into the Mentorship Program directly from a sampling of 2016 participants.
When: Wednesday January 18 from noon to 1pm (feel free to bring a lunch)
Where: Island Prostate Centre 100 – 1900 Richmond Road (Robbins Parking lot in back)
This relationship focused program runs from March through to January each year with a 1 – 2 hour time commitment per month. Program details are available in the Mentorship Handbook (here).
