About the Instructor

George Hummel, is a member of the US TAG to ISO/TC 176, the group responsible for drafting the changes to ISO 9001:2015.  He is also a member of the ISO 9001 Validation Team and the US's ISO 9001 Interpretation committee.  His direct intimate knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 will allow you to have an in depth understanding of the standards. George will review the standards and discuss the impact they will have on your Quality Management System.  His official explanation of the intent will help you allow you to get a first hand description of the "what" and the "why" behind each directive. Each session will be tailored to a specific part of the management and implementation team.  This will enable a unique opportunity for peer networking, discussion, and problem solving.

What People Are Saying:

The Clark State ISO 9001: 2015 Certification program exceeded our expectations.  The instructor was truly a subject matter expert in the standard. He went above and beyond to facilitate the construction of our Quality Management System to meet the internationally recognized requirements.  We are confident that the implementation of this standard will help improve our business efficiency and quality of delivery for our clients, and grateful for the expertise that Clark State brought to the program. - Brian Chaney, President TACG

ISO 9001:2015 Transition

Training Consortium

Does your business need to transition from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015?

This six-week consortium through Clark State Community College and in partnership with IQC, LLC., will provide you with the training and support needed to transition an already certified system.

The deadline to transition ISO 9001:2008 is September 14, 2018. However, please keep in mind, transition timelines should take into account access to auditors and limited availability due to high demand. The earlier you begin this process, the better ensured you are to transition before the deadline. The transition to the new standard must be met by the transition deadline, at which point certificates for ISO 9001:2008 will no longer be valid.
