NEFLIN Genealogy Interest Group: Online (09/27/17) 

This year the Genealogy Interest Group will focus on preservation of materials. We will have presentations on efforts that allow customers to digitize their treasured photos, caring for those irreplaceable documents that tell your family's story for generations to come and many other topics. In addition to that, we will still have the in-depth exploration of resources that you have come to know and love in this group.

Facilitator: Raymond Neal, Jacksonville University

Raymond Neal is currently Assistant Professor, Librarian of Digital Services at Jacksonville University. Once upon a time, he worked in the Jacksonville Public Library's Special Collections department where he developed a love (obsession?) for Genealogy. He has been trying to get past roadblocks on both sides of his family for the better part of a decade.
