How to Understand the Numbers in your Business

Do you love your accounts? Does looking over your business’ numbers give you that special tingle? If not, don’t worry, you are not alone. Lots of business owners mention how finance and accounts are not their specialism. Well if that’s you and you’d like to obtain a basic understanding to help you with your business, without having to become a closet accountant, then this event is for you.
You will learn about making a profit (nothing to do with spiritual guidance), a balance sheet (which does not go around a bed), how to estimate your tax bill, different VAT models, some basic accounting terms, their meaning and impact and how to put together some simple finance measures for your business.
You will also be given some simple to use tools to help your business. Come along and have some fun with your finances.
Graham Carson, from Inca Accounting, will demystify the terminology of accounting, help you to identify the key numbers which drive your business and how to measure them in a simple, easy to follow and fun workshop (now there’s a challenge – making finance fun!!).
