Join fellow Atlanta Dames as we support ACFB in their efforts to fight hunger. The Atlanta Community Food Bank relies on more than 15,000 volunteers every year in various capacities. Our assistance in the Product Rescue Center will begin at 1:00 PM followed by our February chapter meeting and potluck roundtable to meet our 2017 board members. If you are unable to join us for the volunteer session all are invited to the meeting beginning at 4:30 PM. We have committed to 40 volunteer slots – so please do not delay in registering. Your volunteer commitment is an important step in the fight against hunger. ___________________________________________________

Flips flops, sandals or heeled shoes are not allowed. Please wear comfortable clothing you do not mind getting a bit rumpled. Parking Information: Upon arrival into the main entrance (look for the big high sign with the Atlanta Community Food Bank orange peach logo), the parking lot will be to your left (on slight hill). After exiting your vehicle, look left for the fence covered walkway (affectionately known as “the cage”) with the Product Rescue Center Volunteers sign. Follow the fenced walkway to the PRC door. The Atlanta Community Food Bank will provide support to inspect, sort, and pack quality grocery donations to prepare for distribution to almost 700 partner agencies across Georgia. With 1 in every 5 Georgians and 1 in 4 Georgia children at risk of hunger, it takes caring folks like YOU to bridge the meal gap. Your time is deeply appreciated and urgently needed. ___________________________________________________ Registration Deadline is Tuesday, January 24, 2017
