Marcello Windolph, Fasciatherapie
Marcello is a unique Fasciatherapist and Perceptive Educator. He writes:
Fascia envelopes all anatomic structures of the body, connects and links them to a unity. It is not only a structural matrix but also a dynamic communication system that is responsible for maintaining many functions in the body.
Through a specific form of dynamic touch we read the states of tension in the tissue and mobilize and liberate the force of auto-regulation which appears to the hand in the form of a tissue tonicity.
Regaining balance between the inner movement of this force and the matter of the body optimizes embodiment and health. Through a more profound perception the feeling of existence of the client and the relationship to herself improves and thereby the whole relationship that the person has to themselves, the other and the world is touched.
Marcello’s interest lies in methods of developing perception as a foundation and entrance to bodywork. Having trained first in traditional arts of developing perception in China, he studied close to Danis Bois (founder of Fasciatherapie MDB and Perceptive Education) and the team of researchers, perceptive educators and fasciatherapists.
Marcello would like to share some thoughts on the importance of the relationship between the heart and hand.
This is Marcello’s second trip to the US to share Fascia Therapie and Perceptive Education work among the many gifted therapists coming to the workshop. Find him often in Amsterdam/Website: marcellowindolph.net
Marcello Windolph is a certified Perceptive Psychopedagogue and Fasciatherapist based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He was a professional musician (MA Double Bass) and has indulged in various forms of bodywork for the past 20 years. Having trained first in traditional arts of healing and ‘developing perception’ in China as a student of the legendary 19th generation Taoist lineage holder and traditional medicine specialist, Wang Liping, Marcello’s passion gradually turned into his Profession.
In 2010 he decided to base his approach in a western scientific method in Europe and became a student of Prof. Dr. Danis Bois (founder of Fasciatherapy MDB and Perceptive Education) at the University in Paris. Marcello has spent the last years focused only on the profession related to bodywork and has gained considerable experience with a wide range of clients. He is equally at home in personal manual therapy sessions as he is teaching and offering seminars in touch and perception for specific fields and professions. In his seminars he has worked with midwives, doulas, dancers, musicians, martial artists, physical performers and has collaborated with physiotherapists in accompanying athletes.
Marcello is currently teaching the 2016-2018 university course of Perceptive Education (Pedagogie Perceptieve) in Paris at the “Centre de Formation Professionnelle en Pedagogie Perceptieve” as the assistant to Dr. Helene Bourhis. He has been teaching and treating in Amsterdam/Netherlands in the past years where he collaborated with the pregnancy centre “Moederakademie” and the local birthworker’s scene, including JJ Doula Trainings. In addition to his activities in and around Amsterdam he has held seminars in Spain, Greece, the Netherlands and Germany.
