Raising a Well-Adjusted, Confident
and Self-Reliant Boy

Are you raising a boy? Are you teaching boys? Are you coaching boys? Are you counseling boys? This talk is for you because boys are different than girls. They need different experiences and support to form a strong sense of self and to become self-reliant. Come. Learn. Be Inspired.

What you will Learn about:
-The gender gap in education and its consequences to boys' development.
-Why always being told what to do and how to do it compromises boys' confidence.
-How to communicate with a boy at any age and what to expect in return.
-What we can do as parents, administrators, teachers and mentors to help out boys become men.

Alicia Farrell, Ph. D
Alicia is an accomplished cognitive psychologist and founder of Clearview Consulting and the Center for Mental Fitness. Some of her noteworthy accomplishments include 9 years as a University Professor and twice a Fellowship Award recipient in support of research on Wisdom.
Alicia's life work is to educate and coach people to maximize their brain power and solve problems. She also has a private practice coaching individuals who want to make healthy and durable changes in their lives. Dr. Farrell brings 21 year of expertise and passion to her work.
