BRIEFING:
The CHBRP Program and Analysis of Health Insurance Benefit Mandate Bills
2:00 pm – 3:15 pm
Room 447, State Capitol, Sacramento
Thursday, February 2, 2017
Legislators, staff, advocates and the public are invited.
Interested in learning more about health insurance benefit mandates in California, and about a key contributor to the Legislature's review of health benefit mandate related legislation? In the coming year, will you or your office …
Great! Legislators, staff, advocates, and the public are warmly invited to the California Health Benefits Review Program (CHBRP)'s annual legislative briefing.
CHBRP, housed at the University of California, provides independent, unbiased, and evidence-based analysis for the Legislature on health insurance-related topics, upon the request of the Assembly or Senate. The briefing will provide information about CHBRP, how we do our work and our analyses. We will also discuss health insurance in California and how CHBRP is working to be ready to adjust its analyses to address potential near term changes to the Affordable Care Act.
Whether you are new to health insurance topics or an expert, we welcome your attendance and questions.
