So what’s the scoop?
• Open to any demonstrator.
• All product used on cards MUST BE CURRENT (at time of swap)
• Stampin' Up! product ONLY - No Sale-A-Bration, No Paper Pumpkin.
• At least 2 layers AND 1 or more embellishments.
• Demonstrable cards. Please do your best work, straight cuts, even borders, etc.
• You will be swapping a maximum of 41 + 1 (unless otherwise noted and depending on how many register to participate – you will be informed total by March 3rd to give you a full 4+weeks to create)
• Each person makes 12 cards at the event.
• You will make 30 FULL cards ahead of time with your contact info on a sticky note inside the card. All 30 cards will be put in a gallon zip lock bag together with your name on the outside. The day of the swap, you will take 1 card out to use as your sample at your table.
• When you arrive at the swap, you will be divided up into 3 groups (We do this ahead of time) and you will make 12 cards. When you are done, we’ll have your other cards from the other groups in a bag for you so you will go home with 40 different full cards. (the 41st is your sample and the +1 is ours as we have no time to stamp as we will be dividing swaps and calling door prizes the whole time)
• You will cut for 12 more of your swap you made above and bag ‘kits’ of the pieces in a bag or envelope. You are free to emboss, use the Big Shot or punch in advance to save weight on the airplane and make things move faster.
• You will put all the supplies needed to complete your project and a note card with any explanations you feel necessary and the ‘kits’ into a box. Please, PLEASE DOUBLE AND TRIPLE CHECK to make sure you have ALL supplies, stamps and inks. You do not need to supply scissors or regular adhesive as everyone is to bring their own mono, snail or glue stick. PLEASE MARK ALL STAMPS, INK AND SUPPLIES WITH YOUR NAME! You have no idea how many things are left behind and once we leave the event, it is your postage to get it back!
• Everyone is to bring their own scissors and regular adhesive WITH YOUR NAME CLEARLY MARKED
• Your supplies MAY NOT BE REMOVED FROM THE ROOM UNTIL THE POSTED END TIME HAS COME! If you finish early, you may go for dessert, to your room, or make arrangements for someone else to get your shoebox items. This will allow for those slower stampers not to feel so pressured and for them not to be missed because they were concentrating so hard.
