Officer Besser Memorial Sunshine 5k: Walk, Waddle, Run!

This is a family fun run, raising funds for Backing the Blue Line and the Officer Besser Memorial Scholarship Fund. Backing the Blue Line is a locally founded 501(c)(3) non-profit organization composed of police wives dedicated ot the support of the law enforcement community in Minnesota. Officer Besser loved the time he served as a police liason for the Elk River School District. He loved people and especially enjoyed the students. He had a strong relationship with God and was always serving others in the community and our country through his service in the Air Force. He brought a light, fun environment wherever he went and was known for saying - GOOD MORNING SUNSHINE! We hope to honor him and his service by assisting local area students in furthering their education with the scholarship fund.
 
EVENT INFORMATION
 
Entry Fee: 
$31 if pre-registered by April 22, 2017. 
$36 April 23, 2017 through race day

The kids fun run is no charge. Optional kids t-shirt for $16 with registration.
 
Early Packet Pick-up (Optional):

Amenities:
Free t-shirt in race bag for pre-registrants.  Post registrants while supplies last.  
 
Course:
We will begin and end at the Besser Tree - Elk River Police Department at 8:00am.
