A CALL TO MENTORS

Developing Young Men of Character & Promoting Healthy, Respectful Manhood

Please join us for a free workshop on May 12th, 10am to 3pm to forge a new generation of manhood. We seek to activate male mentors in nurturing young men of respect and compassion to end all forms of violence against women, girls and anyone oppressed because of their gender. We invite all men to show up and invest in their community as catalysts for change in Idaho and beyond on May 12th.   A CALL TO MEN is a national leader in engaging and mobilizing men of all ages to interrupt oppression and violence. Our communities need bold change and we can all play a role in developing young men of character and promoting healthy, respectful manhood.

This workshop is modeled on the Healthy, Respectful Manhood / Domestic Violence Sexual Assault Prevention Training that A CALL TO MEN provides to the National Football League (NFL), the National Basketball Association (NBA), the National Hockey League (NHL), Major League Baseball (MLB), US Military and major colleges and universities across the country.  A recent Washington Post article reported a 40 percent reduction in arrests in the NFL last year.  NFL executives attribute that to “education programs put in place over the past few years.”
