Get a first-hand look at St. Francis Preparatory School. A Buddy Day is an opportunity for eighth grade students to spend the day at St. Francis Preparatory School and experience what it is like to be a member of the Prep family. Students who apply are paired with a St. Francis Student, usually a freshmen to get a true feel for the life at Prep.

How do I schedule a Buddy Day?
Buddy Days for eighth grade students start September 23rd, 2015 and continue to November 5th, 2015. Only eighth grade students can apply. Once the application has been processed we will confirm with your assigned date a week before. St. Francis Preparatory reserves the right to decide on the number of students who participate in Buddy Days on a particular day. Students are responsible to notify their schools that they will be absent from school for a Buddy Day.

What time should I arrive and when will I be dismissed?
On your assigned day you should enter through the main entrance to the security desk between 8:15 and 8:20. A member of the Admission team will meet you and introduce you to your SFP Buddy. Eighth graders
will be escorted back to the N-104 at 2:05 PM at the completion of their day
All 8th grade students will be dimissed through the main entrance.

What do I do for lunch?
You need not bring lunch. St. Francis Prep will provide you with a lunch voucher. Snacks may be purchased separately. Students may bring their own lunch and/or snacks.

What is the dress code for Buddy Days?
Eighth graders are asked to dress nicely, a collared shirt or polo shirt, dress pants and flat shoes.
Do not wear jeans, t-shirts, pajama pants, athletic wear, or sandals. Any eighth grade students not dressed appropriately will not be able to participate in his/her Buddy Day. Please no cell phones or other electronic devices in the school. If you need to make a phone call, you may do so in N-104 at any time.
