Are you a sibling, parent, service provider or someone concerned about sibs’ ever-changing issues across the lifespan of their disabled sibling? We have a conference for you that will help you address:

-How to support siblings of people with disabilities through their unique lives.
  
-Agencies & Organizations will learn how to provide "sibling friendly" services.


FRIDAY: Siblings of people with disabilities need support too!
What do you do about the concerns often experienced by brothers and sisters of children with disabilities; peer issues, resentment, loss and concerns about the future? The Siblings of people with disabilities Friday session will help you answer those and many more questions. You will 
witness a lively and rewarding discussion of sibs' issues across the lifespan including a discussion panel made up of siblings.

This workshop is designed for adult siblings of people with disabilities, parents of young or adult children with disabilities and professionals interested in supporting individuals with disabilities and their families. We will help you assess your family’s current needs for future planning, find resources, and create practical strategies for addressing the legal, financial, health care, housing and other elements of future planning.
