Twined Knitting Hat Class--Jan 28 2-4pm 

Twined knitting is a great technique for creating doubly warm pieces that are perfect for windy Western winters! 

This technique is a version of stranded color work that originated in Scandanavia. Using two strands of yarn you will knit alternate stitches with each yarn and twist the working yarns together to create an extra yarn layer behind your fabric. 

Sound complicated? It won't be! Let Lynne Ruggles guide you through this fun process. You will practice this technique on Cowgirl Yarn's signature pattern, The Cowgirl Convertible, a hat that transforms into a cowl. 

Class Meeting: Saturday January 28, 2017--2-4pm

Materials: 1 ball each of two colors of Deluxe Worsted Superwash, sz US8 16" circular needles

HOMEWORK: Cast on 96 sts with one color for bottom rib onto US8 16" needles. Join in the round and place a marker to mark the beginning of a round. Continue in K1, P1 rib for 1.5".
