Join us at the AFP Morning Tea and Coffee Click! Hosted on the first Wednesday of every month in the Hillside Mall Food Court near the Juice Bar.

 The purpose of these meetings is to discuss local fundraising concerns, to network and meet people that will enrich our efforts and energy for fundraising and to bring new and potential Island AFP members together.

February's Topic:

Diversity is  a term that is used often in our culture to mean a diverse amount of things. What does it mean to you? The AFP – VI are debating this issue as well and would be interested to hear what you think it means, in relation to your work as a fundraiser. A definition currently being proposed is: That the AFP – VI board of directors move to adopt a new definition of diversity to include increasing membership from, and service to, multi-cultural, immigrant and refugee societies, First Nations, LGBT associations and other, smaller primarily volunteer run service providers in the non-profit sector.
