Register now for the 2017 Jamaica Immersion in Montego Bay.

Come with us to Jamaica in June for a mission immersion experience that you will not forget!  Learn about the Jamaican people, the church in Jamaica and explore how we are linked to the Jamaican people in the bonds of global solidarity.  Although the number of Catholics in Montego Bay is small, their evangelization efforts are making a huge impact. Join their E-Team (Evangelization Team) for an exciting week of mission experiences.

Leaving the comfort of home to meet our brothers and sisters in another land is a real and concrete way we encounter Christ in each other.  Come see what new dimensions of faith, hope and love Jesus wants to share with and through you!

See how immersion trips can impact us by following this link to our missionary blog.

PLEASE NOTE:  Couples traveling together must each register separately as we need complete contact information for each participant.

This Immersion trip includes:
  • Pre-trip orientation
  • On-site introduction to the cultural, economic, and political realities of Jamaica by Jamaican leaders
  • Introduction to the current realities and context of mission in Jamaica and around the world
  • Daily communal prayer, liturgies and theological reflection
  • A look at the ministries of the Catholic Church in Jamaica, including tours of the church sponsored ministries, such as the Diocesan Clinic and Hope Hospice for AIDS patients.
