Hepatitis C Prevention, Treatment and Trends 

The purpose of this webinar is to provide an overview of hepatitis infections, inform clients and the public on the transmission and prevention of Hepatitis C, understand the occurrence, prevalence and impact of Hepatitis C in Iowa and identify resources for both providers and patients in Iowa.

Objectives: 1) Describe the differences between Hepatitis A, B, and C.  2) Explain how Hepatitis C is transmitted and can be prevented. 3) Describe HCV epidemiological trends in Iowa.

Target Audience:  ARNPs, PAs, CNMs, Counselors, Clinic Assistants, Health Educators
