ASCE Seattle Public Relations and Government Relations Training Session

Please join us for a Public Relations and Government Relations Training session on February 17, 2017 PRIOR to the Dream Big documentary release. 

There will be 2 sessions plus lunch to choose from. You can attend one or both sessions. The cost is the same for one or both sessions. 

8:30AM-11:30AM Morning Session
11:30AM-12:00PM Lunch
12PM-3PM Afternoon Session

There is a 3:30PM showing of Dream Big if interested. Costs are about $10 at the theatre (or order online ahead of time). 

Morning Session: ASCE Government Relations (GRU) University

Speaker: Brian Pallasch, ASCE’s managing director, government relations and infrastructure initiatives

ASCE’s Government Relations staff presents this in-person training session to help amplify the Seattle Section’s understanding of how to effectively engage with elected officials in advance of the section’s legislative advocacy day on March 17. 

Afternoon Session: ASCE Public Relations (PR) University

Speaker: Lynn Badgley, ASCE’s senior manager, media relations

ASCE’s Media Relations staff presents this in-person training on public relations, covering how to work with the media, how to make section events and reports media-worthy, and how to handle tough interview questions.

$45 ($40 early bird) for General Admission
$20 ($15 early bird) for students, and free agents
