2017 Handgun Moving and Movers - April 22 

The critical skill of moving off the line of attach and returning fire generally cannot be practiced at a square range.  This class will give you the repititions necessary to engrain 'getting off the X',  into your defensive mindset.  If you remain stationary in a gun fight you increase the likelihood of taking some inbound rounds.

This class is designed for those shooters who have a solid understanding of the fundamentals and want to train on a specific skill.  You will be moving and shooting, shooting at moving targets, and moving and shooting at targets that are THEMSELVES moving! This class is not for the novice handgun student.

This is the first time any of these skills have been offered in a one-day class.  The skills you will learn are critical in prevailing in a violent encounter.  These tools are a must have for your defensive toolbox.

Required Equipment:

• Handgun, 3 spare magazines and carrier for 2 magazines or Revolver  with 3 speed loaders or speed strips
• Holster (no shoulder holsters or small of back holsters)
• Eye and Ear protection
• 250-300 Rounds of ammunition. NO RELOADS
• Range appropriate clothing.  
• Lunch and plenty of fluids.  We will not leave the range for lunch.
• Note taking material.

NOTE: This is NOT a class for beginners! Proper gun handling skills and evidence of prior training is a prerequisite for the course. Prior training in a combative martial art or police defensive tactics class will be useful, but not required. The class will be somewhat physically demanding with lots of time spent moving with a purpose, so please show up expecting to work hard.
