2017 PAGD Annual Meeting

The PAGD Annual Meeting is open for registration! This year's lineup features:

  • The potential for 48 participation credit hours for PEAK presenters, as well as 18 lecture credit hours for all attendees.
  • The chance to learn from nationally-renowned experts in dentistry
  • Opportunities for networking and fun at some of Pittsburgh's most unique venues

Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., PEAK Presentations

Dentists participating in the PEAK program have an opportunity to demonstrate their learning, in their continued journey towards mastership or fellowship.

 Thursday, 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., "Host Home" dinner

 Attendees will be treated to a ride up the Duquesne Incline and pictureque views of
 the city atop Mt. Washington, while they enjoy dinner at Monterey Bay Fish Grotto. 

Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Dr. Dennis Tarnow

"Esthetic and Implant Controversies, and Innovations that Determine How to Treat Our Patients"

Dr. Tarnow, a graduate of the New York University College of Dentistry, is a specialist in both periodontics and prosthodontics, and former chairman of the college’s Department
of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. Presently, Director of Implant Education at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, Dr. Tarnow has written over 100 scientific papers and has co-authored or contributed chapters to several textbooks, including “Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry”.

Dr. Portwood is a lifetime member of the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, and a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry. His presentation covers many subjects, including tips to improve your practice, financial planning gems, and answers to the most common questions and problems investors face.

Sunday, 8:30 am - 12:00 pm, Dr. Jeffrey Chustckie and Dr. Steven Liao

"Invisalign: Fundamentals and Advanced Certification"

At the conclusion of the program the participants will understand how to identify ideal case types for Invisalign treatments, integrate all aspects of the Invisalign process into the practice, and use the software that depicts a virtual set up of your planned treatment. This course is now certified to begin using Invisalign in your office.
