We are excited to inform you that this lecture series has been formally applied to be recognized for Prescribed credits by the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). It is hoped that each monthly topic will be recognized for 2 hours of AAFP prescribed credit. Though pending, approval cannot be guaranteed and we are awaiting notification.  Once approved for AAFP prescribed credit, Physicians should only claim the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. 

AMA/AAFP Equivalency:
AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)^™ toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award.  When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1.
