2017 Delmarva Poultry University - Industry Partnership Summit 

University of Maryland Deans, Craig Beyrouty (UMCP) and Moses Kairo (UMES), are pleased to welcome the poultry industry, university, federal and state partners, and stakeholders to the Delmarva Poultry University - Industry Partnership Summit that will be held on April 7, 2017 (8:30AM-3:00PM) at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. 

The goal of the Summit is to highlight the research programs, teaching, and extension activities at the universities serving the poultry community in Delaware, Maryland and Virginia, followed by a conversation among the partners and stakeholders to assess current capacity in Animal Production, Health, and Environment, and identify priorities and needs for growth and sustainability of the poultry industry.  The Summit aims to enhance the collaboration between the universities and the poultry industry and to work together for a vibrant poultry economy in our region.   

The universities serving Delmarva are the University of Delaware (UDEL), Delaware State University (DESU), University of Maryland at College Park (UMCP), University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) and the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech).  Posters will be displayed throughout the day of the Summit.  Faculty and university representatives will be available to answer questions.   

We hope that you can join us for this important Summit!  There is no cost to attend, but you must register online by March 17, 2017.  Complimentary Continental Breakfast and Lunch will be served to all participants.
