  • Presentation Description: Cybersecurity is constantly evolving to keep up with unmanaged and non-traditional devices as they continue to expand the attack surface of the enterprise networks. In this presentation, Mr. Lee will describe five major trends that are changing the threat lanscape in 2017 and recap Frost and Sullivan survey results regarding IT Staff preceptions about their level of preparation, security tools effectiveness and ability to automate controls. Key Topics will include how to classify and assess networked devices; applying network controls; and implementing the latest integration technologies to orchestrate information sharing and automate workflows among third-party security tools.
  • Speaker(s): Ted Lee, Manager, Systems Engineering, ForeScout Technologies, Inc.
  • Speaker Bio: Ted has been an IT systems security pratitioner for over 15 years. In that time, he has successfully sold and implemented global security tools for Fortune 50 customers in most major verticals. He previously worked for Symantec supporting customers across North America and Dell Computers internal IT as a senior network engineer. In his current role, Ted relies upon his security and networking background to assist customers in utilizing ForeScout's CounterACT Visbility and Control platform to secure their networks from BYOD/guest users and compters, insider threats and mobile devices.
