When you’re in a rush, forget fast food. K-State Research and Extension — Douglas County is excited to offer delicious, healthy food that can be prepared simply, inexpensively and, most importantly, quickly.

During these hands-on cooking classes, you will learn recipe techniques, preparation and cooking tips, as well as create samples of dishes to test your skills. Each session offers a specific focus, allowing you to choose the classes that most interest you, or choose them all! Each session is $15, or $75 for all six. Participants must be at least 16 years old, and classes must be between 10 and 25 participants.

All sessions take place in the Culinary Commons, Located in Building 21 on the Douglas County Fairgrounds, at 2110 Harper Street, Lawrence KS. Pre-registration and fees are due one week in advance of class, payable to Douglas County Extension Council.
