About the Instructors

Joseph J. Dinardo
Joe Dinardo is a partner in the Atlanta office of Smith, Currie & Hancock LLP. Joe's practice focuses mainly on construction disputes, lien prosecution and defense, contracts, commercial litigation, labor law, and collections.

G. Scott Walters
Scott Walters is of counsel in the Atlanta office of Smith, Currie & Hancock LLP. Scott received a B.C.E. degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA, graduating in 1985. Before law school, Scott worked as a Project Engineer, Project Manager, and Owner's Representative on numerous commercial construction and environmental remediation projects.

Joy Provost
Joy Provost is a senior underwriter with Travelers. She has spent 16 of her 20+ years in the surety industry with Travelers specializing in the underwriting of construction surety bonds for a wide range of construction clients. Joy has earned the Associate in Fidelity and Surety Bonding (AFSB) and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designations. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and Master of Business Administration in Finance from Georgia State University. 

Philip J. Siegel
Philip J. Siegel, Esq., is a partner and shareholder with the firm of Hendrick, Phillips, Salzman & Siegel.  Philip attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan graduating with distinction from the School of Business Administration where he earned his B.B.A. Mr. Siegel received his law degree from Emory University School of Law.  Mr. Siegel’s practice focuses primarily in the areas of labor/employment law, including defense of OSHA citations, immigration compliance assistance, Davis-Bacon Act consulting, contract consulting, and construction litigation, including representation of general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, all on a national basis.
