Essentials of Entrepreneurial Client Management

If you work with entrepreneurial clients you know that without trust, clients may hold back essential information, may not ask for you help when they need it most, and may even drop out of programs just when they are getting traction.

In this introduction to working with entrepreneurial clients, we explore some of the factors that affect trust in client relationships:

- What we are there to do and not do with clients - our roles and their boundaries.

- The challenges and trends in our work, including challenges we face in our community, our organization, and our own thinking.

- What we can do to build trust, including techniques for creating rapport and listening skills.

- An introduction to the Entrepreneurial Decision Making Cycle, a structure that can help anchor the process of working with clients.

Your online experience will be live and interactive. You will have lots of opportunities to talk to your peers in small and large groups, build resources together, and think and reflect. We want you to forget that you're not in the same room together!

You will also have a chance to contribute to the content of the class before you sign it, and anchor your learning with a post-class assignment that will challenge you to apply your learning to your job.

Registration deadline:  February 28, 2017
