This session will allow the participant to learn the basics of video game design and actually lead them through what they need to know to create their own video game. The participant will learn how to perform functions and to debug problems as they occur during the design process. They can then play and enhance the video games they learn to create. No previous knowledge of game design is required.
General Information:
- Academy day begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 3:00 PM.
- Arrival time: students should arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. Academy T-shirts: Students will be given 2 t-shirts for the week and are asked to wear one everyday.
- Additional shirts may be purchased during the week. Academy Backpack will be distributed on the first day.
- Lunch will be available for purchase in our school cafeteria everyday.
SFP Summer Academy is offered to students between the ages of 10-14 years old.
