Where to Find Money for Your Business: Business Funding Basics and Alternatives

Whether you are just starting a business or getting ready to expand, you might find yourself in a situation where you need additional business funding. The old days of going to your local bank and getting a signature loan may be over, but there are still plenty of funding options available. This workshop will provide the steps you need to take in order to acquire business funding. It will address what small business lenders look for in an optimal loan package and discuss the question about whether you need a business plan. Alternative funding methods and sources will be covered such as non-bank lenders, equity investor, and crowdfunding, to name a few. We will review the advantages and drawbacks of various options, so that you can make a more informed decision about what is right for you and your business.
