Marcia Dee Haley Leo Scholarship Fund

Marcia Haley joined the Seal Beach Lions Club in April 2007 and immediately signed up to be a youth advisor to the Seal Beach Leo Club.  The Leos are are youth community service group with boys and girls aged 12-18 years old who improve the community and help the less fortunate.

Marcia was passionate about 'her Leos' and acted much like a mother hen to her little chicks.  She served nearly 10 years as a Leo Advisor and was recognised with many awards for her service with this group.

The Marcia Dee Haley Leo Scholarship will be presented annually at the Seal Beach Leo Club's Community Support night in May.  A group of Leo Advisors including her husband Mike will make the selection based on criteria still to be determined but surrounding the values of community service and responding to the needs of the less fortunate.  

The Seal Beach Lions Foundation will manage the scholarship fund.  All donations are tax deductible. Those wishing to donate may do so using the donation tab below or by sending a check to the Seal Beach Lions Foundation noting the Marcia Dee Haley Leo Scholarship in the note.
