This event is for 8-12 year old swimmers.  You will not need swim equipment. Please bring a water bottle and small snack along with your towel and goggles.

Florida Gold Cost LSC Host Olympic Medalist for 8-12 Year Old Swimmers


 WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Learn champion performance techniques from 5-Time Olympic Medalist
  • Receive small-group personal instruction in the water on four strokes, starts, turns and streamline
  • Understand how your body, mind and heart affect your swimming
  • Race Olympians
  • Ask questions, get autographs and take photos with the athletes

ANTHONY ERVIN is a thinker, a tinkerer, a teacher and a student. With a perpetually unsatisfied curiosity and intelligence, he’s seen and done more in just three decades than most mortals do in a lifetime. By the time he was age 22, he’d won Olympic gold, two World championships and seven NCAA titles. He moved on. World traveler, graduate student, rock and roll band member and tattoo collector. Eventually his love for the sport reemerged, and he returned to competitive swimming. With it came a sense of giving back through teaching youth about water safety and helping them reach their potential in and out of the pool. Ervin's renewed passion earned him a spot on the 2016 Rio Olympic Team where he earned another gold medal in the men's 50 freestyle. 

 

JOSH DAVIS
Family man. Business man. Swimming ambassador. Josh Davis successfully balances speaking engagements, conducting swim clinics and spending time with his growing family. He's developed into a world-class motivational speaker, broadcaster and swim clinician. Josh reaches thousands of young swimmers as the embodiment of the sport's values. Davis is a 5-Time Olympic Medalist and is passionate about encouraging swimmers to become champions in and beyond the water.
