The Delaware Center for Justice Presents its Annual Celebration

Celebrating DCJ's past & sustaining DCJ's future

On April 6th, Join the Delaware Center for Justice in...

  • Honoring Governor Dale Wolf, Lisa Minutola, and Pat Beebe for their dedication to justice in Delaware
  • Hearing firsthand from clients about the difference DCJ has made in their lives
  •  Dancing the evening away
  • And more!

As we celebrate the Delaware Center for Justice, we will also be presenting several awards:

  • The William A. Vrooman "Exemplar of Justice" Award will be awarded to Governor Dale E. Wolf
  • The newly-established Stand Up for What's Right & Just (SURJ) Award will be awarded to Lisa Minutola, Chief of Legal Services at the Office of Defense Services
  • The Mary Elizabeth Mical Award will be awarded to Pat Beebe and the Food Bank of Delaware
  • The annual Staff Excellence Award will be announced on April 6th - it's a surprise!

Raffle - Drink Like Nixon, Steal Joe's Style

Attendees can purchase raffle tickets for the chance to win a Kweichow Moutai boxed set or VP Joe Biden's famous Ray-Ban sunglasses! The first ticket pulled will win the Moutai set, and the second ticket pulled will win the Ray-Bans.

Moutai has been a symbol of diplomacy and fridship between the US and China since President Nixon famously drank it with the Chinese Prime Minister in 1972. The sunglasses speak for themselves - they're some of the most iconic shades ever!

Silent Auction

Bidding will commence when the doors open at 5:30pm, and the auction will close shortly after the presentation - at approximately 7:30pm.

Here is a sneak peek at what you can take home from the silent auction:

  • An American flag that has flown over the US Capitol (along with a certificate of authenticity and a letter from Senator Tom Carper)
  • A two-night stay at Hotel Monaco in Philadelphia
  • A one-year membership to FIT Studio
  • A Jack Georges briefcase from Bag & Baggage
  • A one-month membership to RIV Athletics
  • A beach-ready gift bag from Houppette
  • And more!

Each ticket for the Annual Celebration includes heavy hors d'hoeuvres, beer & wine, and an investment in a higher quality of justice in Delaware.

Tickets are $125/each. $40 of each ticket purchased is not tax-deductible; the balance is tax-deductible.

Every ticket purchased will move us closer to unlocking $75,000 in matching funds thanks to a generous challenge grant from the Longwood FoundationWe only have until the end of May to reach our goal, and every ticket (and donation!) makes a difference.
