April 2017 What a Body to do? Understanding Disposition Options
Freddie Johnson, Executive Director of CBI and co-founder of Prairie Creek Conservation Cemetery, will be facilitating a workshop on options for disposition. The presentation and discussion will:
- Identify the environmental, financial & emotional consequences of our conventional death-care choices.
- Provide information about the various choices available today.
- Examine how and why conventional choices came about, and what some alternative choices and more "traditional" methods of death-care have to offer.
There will be a discussion and "question & answer" segment at the end of the presentation.
Following the workshop, Freddie will be leading a tour of Prairie Creek Conservation Cemetery grounds (approx. 12:00pm).
