Instructors

This workshop will have two experienced instructors, present and co-teaching for the entire time, to allow for expert guidance, individualized attention and group interaction.

Instructors: Frank P. Saladis and Kay Wais

Frank P. Saladis is a world-renowned project management expert based out of New York. He is a PMI Fellow, published author, and he was awarded PMI's 2006 Person of the Year. He was the New York City PMI Chapter president and he is a senior instructor for the Frank P. Saladis Certificate in Project Management Program.. 

Kay Wais is the owner of Successful Projects and is the Director for the Frank P. Saladis Certificate in Project Management program. She was the founder of the La Crosse-Rochester PMI Chapter and is co-owner of the AVS Group.

Tuesday, March 7th, 9 am to 5 pm

Wednesday, March 8th, 9 am to 5 pm

Thursday, March 9th, 9 am to 5 pm

Friday, March 10th, 9 am to noon

Price

This workshop wil be offered at the fee of $1,550 and will include the following:

  • 35 hours of classroom instruction
  • One-year access to Successful Project's PMP exam prep online class
  • One-year access to Successful Project's mock exams 
  • Successful Project's PMP exam prep workbook in a 3-ring binder, which you may also use to add additional notes and study materials.
  • A Successful Projects tote bag

Attendees will need to bring your own copy of the 5th edition Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). You may obtain this through PMI or any major bookstore.

Laptops

At regular intervals we reinforce content we have just covered with short online practice questions.  If you are attending the classroom workshop, please plan to bring a WiFi enabled laptop, notebook, or other Web-enabled device of your own. You may also want to bring an extension cord.

Lunches

Lunches each day will be on your own. Davies Commons area is close and you may want to eat there. It has a Erbert and Gerberts sandwich outlet, salad bar, and many other options.

You may bring your lunch and stay onsite or leave. Times may vary, but will probably run either 11:30 - 12:30 or 1 pm to 2 pm, in order to avoid the busy time in the Davies lunch area.

Location and Parking

Location: We will be meeting in the Nursing Building Room 202 for 4 of the 5 days. We may need to move to room 119 on Wednesday.

Parking passes will be issued the week prior. The parking is going to be across the river from the Nursing building.
