Insight to Innovate Conference

July 26-27, 2017

The Pewaukee School District and the Institute for Personalized Learning are excited to partner on the first ever Insight to Innovate Conference. Based on the Insight Program being implemented in the Pewaukee School District, this is an excellent opportunity to learn how to develop your student’s skills for high-demand careers. Strategies for building connections with community partners for authentic experiences that improve and personalize student learning will be a focus of the event.

Hear keynote presenters speak about personalized learning and using a process to innovate as well as learn from teachers, administrators, and business supporters engaged in personalized learning, standards-based grading, academic & career planning, and more!

Sessions Include:

  • Integrating Academic & Career Planning (ACP) to enhance the learning environment
  • Assessing students in a project-based, standards environment
  • Building buy-in with school and district leaders
  • Listen and learn from teachers, students, and businesses about their experiences in the Pewaukee School District Insight program
  • Business, student, and parent panels to discuss skills needed to be successful in college and careers
  • Using a curriculum process and resource management to support innovation
  • Building relationships and changing expectations between higher education and K-12 schools
