CAPPA, in partnership with CDE and Supportive Services, Inc., is delivering a
1-day Regional Meeting in Fresno.
Training topics will include two presentations from CDE, as well as a Budget Update from CAPPA.
This training will be delivered in a format that is very participatory in hopes that it will create and strengthen peer to peer relationships.
We encourage all participating to come with questions.

Best Practices Discussion

During this workshop, CDE will give an overview of why the Error Rate Review was created; review the current guide; discuss the outcomes of prior year reviews and common findings; and provide an opportunity for participants to share suggestions for changes needed moving forward. 
The GAU error report highlights four areas where errors are commonly found. However, only a very general summary is provided. We will discuss each of these four areas and talk about examples of how an error could be made and see examples that the auditors have seen.
