The Global Health Residency Tracks of Christiana Care Health System , in partnership with the Delaware Academy of Medicine & Delaware Public Health Association, are pleased to invite you to this month's global health talk.

This talk is open to anyone and we welcome all disciplines!

Our presenter for this month's talk is:

Charita Jackson-Durosinmi

Charita Jackson-Durosinmi is a dedicated humanitarian who works and serves both the local community as well as communities internationally.  Charita Jackson-Durosinmi earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services from Sojourner-Douglass College and works as the Director of Rural Health Outreach at Westside Family Healthcare.

Charita Jackson- Durosinmi has dedicated twenty-five years of service working to serve special and at risk populations; fourteen of those twenty-five years were spent providing services directly to the migrant and seasonal farmworkers and their families.  One of the responsibilities that she is tasked with is working with the Migrant & Seasonal Agricultural Workers Program’s Outreach Team at Westside Family Healthcare to ensure access to quality healthcare and supportive services for the farmworkers and their families that travel to and work in the state of Delaware.

On a more personal note Charita Jackson-Durosinmi is passionate about people.  She has a genuine love and concern for those who are considered less fortunate.  She loves to travel and learn about other cultures.

The CCHS Global Health Curriculum is an interdepartmental collaboration, supporting the Global Health Tracks in the Depts. of Medicine and Family Medicine, and the Med-Peds Residency, with the support of the Delaware Academy of Medicine, Delaware Public Health Association, and Delaware Academy of Family Physicians.
