Forget Me Not

  • What’s the difference between age-related memory loss and dementia?
  • What are the signs of cognitive decline and is there effective treatment?
  • What can people do to delay or prevent cognitive decline?

Learn answers to these questions and more from Dr. Jason H. Karlawish, professor of medicine, medical ethics and health policy, and neurology at the University of Pennsylvania's Perelman School of Medicine; Co-Director the Penn Memory Center; and leader of the Penn Healthy Brain Research Center. His research focuses on both how to prevent neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's disease and how we live with those diseases in the meanwhile as treatments are in the process of being discovered.  During his presentation, Dr. Karlawish will also review current resarch at the University of Pennsylvania and explain how to get involved.
