Minneapolis Book Release of StevenBe: Legendary

Minneapolis—Local designer and personality Steven Berg is hosting a launch party for his second solo publication, StevenBe Legendary.

StevenBe Legendary is a book of fun and functional knitting patterns intermixed with anecdotes from the storied lives of Steven, a career fashion designer with Munsingwear, Perry Ellis, and Versace, and Christa Berg, his mother and an immigrant from East Germany. From her humble beginnings in war-torn Germany to the quiet life she now leads running her shop in Wisconsin, you may assume that Christa is the polar opposite of her flamboyant son Steven. You would be wrong. Christa is sweet as pie but can be an absolute spitfire. When you see Christa and Steven together, it’s obvious that she’s been his guiding force from the very
beginning.

 

The StevenBe Legendary launch party is on March 9, from 6:00 pm to 8:00

 

pm at StevenBe in South Minneapolis. The event is free to the public with the

 

ability to opt for the $38 VIP package. VIP packages include a personalized

 

autographed copy of the book on reserve and a signature silver tote.
