Registration is now OPEN for the TANE 2017 Spring Symposium, to be held at the Marriott Sable Oaks in South Portland, Maine!

Register Now!To take advantage of Member pricing, please contact Shereen at admin@tane.org or 207-671-5437 and become a member today. During the Spring Symposium, we will be offering a $100 discount on your first years Associate Dues.

It's hard to believe that spring is just around the corner as we are digging out of record snow this past weekend! But now, we can adapt and continue forward with our perseverence and pride to be a New Englander (as if the Super Bowl wasn't enough).

We are planning on having another amazing show for our TANE members and Associates! As always, non-members and guests are welcome to join us.

This year, we will have 3 User Groups, Adtran, Calix, and Genband, providing education and updates to their road map for new and exciting features. The User Group meetings are your opportunity to ask the community how to overcome challenges that may have been encountered when deploying their systems. Today, these systems have grown in complexity with additional functionality to enable the Telco's to offer advanced services to stay one step ahead of the competition!

The Symposium will have a plethora of exhibitors all in one place to be able to see and touch the latest and greatest technology and services. There will be educational breakout sessions along with a "Telco Touch" session for hands-on education of splicing, testing, and design of fiber networks.

At lunch, we will hear from Alan Mallory about his communication and team work with his family as they climbed Mt. Everest with its challenges and risks. The story is absolutely fascinating! He will give a demonstration of his climbing techniques and challenges afterwards.

There will be a session on Cyber Security that will be an eye opener for those that are thinking "It won't happen to me". Everyone is under attack, both personally and within our companies.

A session on WiFi network desin and troubleshooting is planned to enhance your technicians knowledge for when they are dispatched to a subscriber that is complaining of "slow internet".

We will hear discussion on Over The Top Video and the design and troubleshooting of these networks that are now flowing over your "Fat Pipe".

Probably the biggest opportunity with the Symposium is networking with your peers. Listening to others on how they resolved issues, gaining "tips and tricks" knowledge, will save you and your customers several hours of research and trial and error when someone else had a similar issue and how they resolved it.

The Exhibitors are looking forward to meeting you and discussing your specific and special requirements for hardware and/or software for now or in the future. Knowing who to call when you have that requirement which seems to come at the 11th hour will help in your time of need!

We look forward to seeing you and your colleagues at this exciting and educational event! Sign up early to get the best rates for the hotel and the Symposium.
