American Watercolors in the Age of Homer and Sargent: A Before Hours Tour

PMA guide Deena Gerson has led tours for FitC members--and they find her a wonder! Her comment on the tour:  "There are 150 breath-taking works…each a gem...wish we could have a three hour tour! “

Her private tour of PMA’s blockbuster exhibit for 2017 “explores watercolor painting’s remarkable rise in the United States, from the passion of a small group of painters in the 1860s to the flowering of modernism in the early twentieth century,”

This extraordinary gathering of rarely seen masterpieces traces the rise of a uniquely American medium. Learn how watercolor became an American phenomenon. More about the exhibit here.

Thanks to FitC member Clifford Pearlman for once again organizing a fascinating tour.

Click Here to Register The fee regardless of PMA member status is $35.  Payment is needed by March 20; no refunds after then.
