REMINDER
Occasionally, winter weather creates hazardous driving conditions making it necessary to cancel PNCR training events. When this occurs, every effort will be made to notify registrants of the cancellation a minimum of 2 hours prior to the training start time. Registrants will be notified using the phone number and/or email address provided during event registration.
Please remember to check your voice mail and/or email messages 2 hours prior to an event's starting time.
In this workshop we will discuss accommodations and modifications in both instruction and assessment. We will share specific examples and answer questions such as:
- What is an accommodation and a modification and how do they differ?
- How do I know if my student needs accommodations and/or modifications?
- What impact to NYS learning standards and NYS assessments have on all of this?
Bring questions and examples from your child’s IEP. There will be an opportunity for an interactive discussion.
