Advanced Threat Assessment Training

Threat assessment and threat management are regarded as the current best practice for preventing targeted violence and mass shootings in workplaces, in educational institutions, in houses of worship, in healthcare settings, in the military, and against public figures and public officials.  This full-day advanced course reviews best practice procedures in behavioral threat assessment and provides participants with opportunities to put threat assessment procedures into practice through multiple tabletop exercises.  The course will help hone and enhance participants’ threat assessment and threat management skills through discussion of complex case studies and group exercises.        Course fee is $375 per person.

This course is taught by experts from SIGMA Threat Management Associates, who have decades of practical experience investigating, assessing, and intervening directly in threatening situations, as well as extensive experience teaching others how to do the same. The course is appropriate for participants from multiple sectors, including workplaces, military branches, law enforcement, educational settings, mental health, and private security / executive protection.
