Keynote - Fred Lampropoulos

Fred Lampropoulos has been in the medical device industry for more than 30 years. After serving as the Chairman and Chief Executive of Utah Medical, Lampropoulos founded Merit Medical Systems, Inc. in 1987, where he currently serves as Chairman and CEO. Merit has grown from a start-up company to a publicly traded company with revenues of more than $700 million forecasted for 2017.  Lampropoulos has invented and holds more than 240 patents on devices used in the diagnostic and therapeutic treatment of cardiovascular disease. Lampropoulos is extremely involved in his community and serves on many boards. He is also the recipient of numerous awards, including the Governor’s Medal for Science and Technology. He was inducted into the Utah Business Hall of Fame, the Utah Technology Hall of Fame, and the University of Utah College of Science Hall of Fame. He is an Honorary Colonel in the Utah National Guard and received the 2011 Bronze Minuteman Award.

Deb Bilbao - Business Consultant

Deb is the business consultant at the Women’s Business Center. Deb has owned two fast pitch softball instruction and recruiting companies and currently works part-time in the financial services industry that specializes in properly protecting families, reducing and eliminating debt quicker, and building wealth. With a bachelor’s degree in math and a former college softball All American, Deb is the mathlete of our brood.

Nancy Franklin

Nancy Franklin is married, she is the mother of 3 children, and 3 granddaughters. Nancy and her husband moved to Utah in August of 2016 from Silicon Valley California.

Nancy was raised in upstate New York in a small farm community. After experiencing the hard work of her families businesses she elected the academic track of college and corporate career. Over the past 35 years Nancy has owned 3 business and spent 27 years as an engineer at Hewlett-Packard (HP).

Nancy has a degree BS in Information Management along with many years' experience in data security along with various certificates for areas like fraud investigation and compliance and ethics. Franklin's Consulting specializes in helping small business with data security practices to mitigate their risks of data breaches.

At a young age Nancy learned the importance of community. She has been involved in many organizations and program such as; collaboration of local schools with HP Corporate education programs, creating and administration of technology grants in intercity centers, serving on Board of Directors for Boys & Girls Clubs and local school districts, and technology advisor for Business Office Technology program at the San Jose Center for Employment Training. Nancy currently serves on the Southwest Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors here in Utah.

Clay Neves

Clay Neves is President of Personal Sales Dynamics, working with small business owners to make their businesses as powerful in getting and retaining clients as they are in serving them. He has 35 years of sales management experience with several Inc.500/5000 awards for sales growth.  He has designed, implemented and managed successful campaigns for Fortune 500 companies like Pacific Bell, Sprint, AT&T, Citibank, Showtime, and others. He has also worked with thousands of small business owners throughout the United States and Canada to grow their businesses.   He served as Executive Director of the Murray Area Chamber of Commerce.

Jeffrey T. Sherman - Director of Corporate Alliance, Principal of Sherman Speaks, LLC

The developer of TMCORE Theory: The Quadrants of Accountability and a LinkedIn Series, Mr. Sherman has been featured in Forbes, the Daily Herald, and many others. He presents to BYU Marriott School of Business, DSU, SUU, WSU, N. Utah Economic Summit, Women in Business, Association of Fundraising, Utah-Colorado Housing Association, Beehive Homes, and many others. Mr Sherman received his Master of Education Degree at Weber State University graduating Phi Kappa Phi. He is the recipient of a Stevens-Henager College Honorary MBA in Organizational Development. He attributes his success to the support of his beautiful wife Juleen and family.
