Kathy Normandeau has 30 years of music education experience for all ages of students. Kathy has had the good fortune of making music her life. Beginning with piano, Kathy is now teaching a variety of instruments and vocals. Along with teaching, Kathy includes piano technology as an equal passion. Her motto is: “There is music in everyone”. Kathy enjoys participating in community events. Her roles have included accompanist, actress, conductor and choir director.

Kathy's workshop allows for interaction and experimentation with a variety of instruments. The group will explore how tones move, tone colour and expression, as well as the basics of theory and rhythm by writing a little song about our day. Each student will be able to take the tune home. Along the way, note writing games, dance steps, and listening activities allow it to happen as plain fun!
