Tuition covers only part of the cost to educate a child.  Parish Subsidy, School Fund Drive and Parent Organization fundraisers make up the difference.

*Tuition is due on the first day of each month, beginning July 1, 2017 and ending on June 1, 2018. 

A $20 late fee will be added after the due date.

Limited Tuition Assistance is available. Please ask for more information from the school office.

  

2017 - 2018 Our Lady of Guadalupe School Registration 

Registration

Student is considered “registered” for the 2017 -2018 school year once the following steps have been completed:

  • All accounts are current, including school tuition, band and extended daycare (EDC)
  • To qualify for In-Parish Tuition Rate, family must have a Parish Commitment Card on file with the Parish (due December 1 each year) and be current with their Parish Commitment/Sunday Giving
  • Online registration has been completed
  • All registration fees have been paid
  • Income Survey form filled out and returned to school office
  • Student Profile form updated and returned to school office

Registration Fees:

  • $250 per child – Kindergarten – 8th grade - One half due by March 24, second half due by April 21
  • $150 per child – Preschool/Pre-k - One half due by March 24, second half due by April 21
  • $15 per child – Classroom Auction Fee - Due in full by March 24
  • $30 per family – Extended Daycare (optional) - Due in full by March 24
*Registration Fees are non-refundable.

Families register under one of two categories:  In-Parish or Out-of-Parish

To qualify for the 2017 - 2018 School Year In-Parish Rate, a family must meet the following criteria:

  1. Families must have submitted a Parish Commitment Card with Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish no later than December 1st, 2016.  New families must now register with Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish.

2.  Families must be current with their 2017 Parish Commitment

3.  Families participate in Mass attendance and involve themselves in the various outreach/educational programs of the parish

Extended Daycare Information (EDC) (optional program)

Registration Fee – Family shall pay an annual $30 registration fee to use this program.  

Explanation of Rates – Rates are based on a per-child basis at $5 per hour.  There is a minimum one-hour charge per visit.  After the first hour, time is broken down into half hours with a five-minute grace period (i.e. 3:00 – 3:45 = 1 hour, 3:00 – 4:30 = 1.5 hours, 3:00 – 5:05 = 2 hours)

Extended Daycare Schedule – EDC is open from 7:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.  Remember, EDC is open on half days, but closed during full days off from school.  EDC will follow the schedule for late start if we have inclement weather.

Monthly EDC Invoices – Invoices will be sent out by the 1st of the month reflecting the prior month’s balance.  If payment is not received by the due date, a $20 late fee may be assessed.

Late Pick-up – A fee of $1 per one (1) minute after 6:00 P.M. will be added to your monthly statement.  Failure to pay these fees will result in your child being denied care until payment is made.

Auction Requirements

At the time of registration, a Classroom Auction Fee of $15 per child is due.  Each family is required to procure an auction donation valued at a minimum of $200 or provide a $200 donation.  Procurred items/donations are due no later than December 1, 2017.  If auction donation paperwork IS NOT received by deadline, an auction fee of $200 may be charged.

To Volunteer for Your Child’s Class – Virtus Safe Environment Program

To help in the classroom, drive on field trips, tutor, or to be a CYO coach or volunteer, you must complete the Virtus Safe Environment Program.  Please go to VirtusOnline.org to register and complete the training or to check your status on previous training.

  • Using your home address is important because your training record will follow you to a new ministry location and make it easier to locate your information, instead of being combined with an entire school or parish location.
  • Use a valid email address for the Certificate of Completion; otherwise you may not receive a copy to turn into your school/parish.
  • List all locations at which you will participate.  This allows all locations to verify the participant has completed the required training.
