ABOUT THE PRESENTERS:


 

Gordana Halbreiner

Gordana Halbreiner is a co-founder of FTC. She is Food Science Engineer with more than 25 years of experience in food and packaging processing and regulatory affairs, which enables her to consult and conduct training in these areas. Gordana, provides consulting services on both federal and provincial HACCP Systems as well all GFSI programs (BRC/ SQF/FSSC 22000/IFS PacSecure). Gordana is certified internal auditor and ATP (Approved Training provider) for BRC program by BRC Institute, HACCP program for food processors and farms by HACCP Alliance ,IFS PACsecure by IFS PACsecure. Gordana holds exclusive rights to train on GFCP program (Gluten Free Certification Program) and she is FSPCA Preventive Controls for Human Food Lead Instructor.

Victor Muliyil

Victor Muliyil is the Food Technical Program Manager, SGS North America, the primary technical contact for human and animal food safety training and audit programs, including GFSI approved schemes, HACCP certification, second party schemes and ISO 22000. Victor is an accredited multi-sector food safety management program lead auditor and trainer. Victor is responsible for development and upgrading of SGS food safety training courses, audit procedures and audit team technical management. He has over 30 years of experience in food safety management system development, training, implementation and auditing, laboratory management and quality assurance management. Victor holds degrees in Biochemistry, Microbiology and Food Science from the University of Toronto, as well as further certification in thermal processing, HACCP and advanced training techniques. 

 

Alex Barlow

Alex Barlow has always been interested in helping people. At Mentor Works, she combines this desire with her past experience in grants administration and economic development to provide strategic advice to companies looking to leverage government funding. Alex has a B.A. and a Master's of Arts, Political Science, from the University of Guelph. Focused on economic development and business development, which led her to work for a Regional Innovation Centre (RIC) and FedDev Ontario. Having been with Mentor Works for almost 5 years, she has helped hundreds of clients access government funding and supported over $300M in funding approvals.
