Economics Bootcamp at Arizona Department of Education

Join us at our ECONOMICS BOOTCAMP, as we take you through all five concepts of the Arizona High School Economics (Social Studies) Standards, with fun and interactive lessons and activities!  This popular week-long workshop is designed after a popular university course, for BOTH teachers who are preparing to become Highly Qualified (HQT), as well as those more experienced teachers looking for some exciting, new ways to teach their classes and update their lessons. This workshop will cover the required topics of economics foundations, microeconomics, macroeconomics, global economics and personal finance.  Whether you are new to economics and trying to figure out how to best cover the standards, you are a veteran economics teacher looking to upgrade and recharge your curriculum, or anywhere in between, you will leave with new ideas that can be immediately implemented in your classrooms. Experience many class activities, simulations, lectures, participant presentations, and group discussions. For High School Teachers.

*Last year's Bootcamp was SOLD OUT, so register asap. The 2016 Bootcamp resulted in 10 of 12 teachers PASSING the AEPA Exam for certification in Economics!
