INSURANCE AND BENEFITS FOR THE
SMALL BUSINESS OWNER
Wednesday, March 22, 2017
2:30 - 5:00 p.m.

Owning and operating your own business poses daily, complex, and occasionally frustrating challenges.  And that’s what makes running a successful business such a satisfying experience.  If your business is a success, that probably means you not only meet the needs of your customers and take good care of your employees but also make a good living and provide for your family.

Building and maintaining a successful business, however, requires being able to answer some important questions, including:
• What would happen to the business if you or a key employee were to die or
           become disabled?
• How will you retain your best workers and attract new employees?
• Are you prepared to weather unforeseen financial hardships?

Sylvia Group Vice Presidents Julia Jennings and Rosemarie S. Lopes will address these questions and provide guidance to the answers.

Julia Jennings, VP Employee Benefits, and has more than 30 years’ experience as a consultant to businesses on insurance and benefits.  Her expertise helps clients implement benefits programs that meet their business and financial goals, reduce administrative burden and deliver value to their employees.

Rosemarie S. Lopes, VP, is a partner in Sylvia Group and Manager Financial Services and Benefits division.  She has more than 14 years’ experience in helping businesses meet their strategic plans and goals.
