"Effective Quality Assurance Process in Home Health: Back to Basics" 

May 17, 2017 (9am -4:30pm)

This interactive training session is designed to educate “QA” staff on the basic ground rules when reviewing home health clinical documentation. It focuses on proven and effective methods to employ in the quality assurance review process, preventing survey deficiencies and payment recoupment. The afternoon session will have participants employ lessons learned by critiquing sample home health clinical documentation. Engage in identifying common documentation mistakes, hands-on!

Objectives:

  1. Identify Medicare home health rules, regulations and other applicable guidelines clinical reviewers should know when reviewing clinical documentation.
  2. Describe documentation requirements related to the plan of care.
  3. Identify quality improvement activities for agency-sustained compliance.

 

FEE (Does not include lunch, but pastry breakfast and afternoon snack provided):

$199/per attendee

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations received in writing 10 days prior to the workshop will be  subject to a 20% administrative fee.  NO REFUNDS will be issued for cancellations received within 10 days of the workshop.  Refunds will not be made for NO SHOWS.  However, substitutions will be allowed.  Please advise A1HC&S in writing of any cancellation or substitution in advance of the workshop.

Payment is required to confirm registration. NO EXCEPTION.

About the Speaker: Christie Sciturro is the principal-in-charge of consulting operations for A-1 Homecare Consulting & Staffing.
