Our Backyard Pitmaster class is an introductory class designed to teach the average BBQ lover how to use your EGG to create the quintessential smoked brisket – what many consider the toughest piece of beef to master, but definitely worth the effort! In this class for newbies and experienced grillers alike, you will experience the art of smoking brisket from start to finish with accomplished pit master Judd Foster, South of Heaven BBQ. Learn about smoking meats on the Big Green Egg, choosing the right brisket, trimming techniques, rubs and prep, wood selection for different smoke profiles, starting and managing the EGG temperature, timing the cook and perfectly slicing the end product. In three short hours, you will learn all you need to know to cook brisket like a pro!
